THE VIRTUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE FESTIVAL
2-D ART
Original 2D art and prints, puzzles, and notecards made from my originals
My work is a reflection of my experience as a farm hand. When I am working on the farm, that is my time for studying my subject and finding inspiration. I am fascinated with balance, motion, color and light and enjoy trying to get all those things to work together in whatever I choose to paint or draw.

Original watercolor and oil paintings as well as fine art limited edition reproductions
Painting, teaching workshops and judging art shows for over 35 years and still love it if a person finds even a small piece of artwork that they like so much they want to take it home. Enjoying landscapes and other subject matter, I try to capture the feeling I had while standing there.....not necessarily an exact image.

Fine Art Originals in Scratchboard
Scratchboard artwork is created by removing color to expose the white clay behind it. The clay can then be colored using transparent inks. This is a very time consuming process that sometimes takes up to 60 hours to create one piece of medium size. They are framed without glass for optimal viewing pleasure.
Hidden Image Pen & Ink Drawings
My drawings are made up of dozens of hidden images done with a .13mm rapidograph pen on acid free paper. Many come with a separate answer key showing what’s hidden in the drawing. I have a wide variety of animals, over 60 dog breeds and sports and university art. My tribute to Penn State is my best seller and comes in three versions and can be personalized.
Carved reclaimed wood panels
I create highly textural etchings on reclaimed wood panels.

Custom Pet Portraits
I would be honored to do a pet portrait of your "furbaby." The portraits are done on 600 grit sandpaper with high end pastels. To start the process, you would send me 3 or 4 close up portraits of your pet as well as a deposit. You will be part of the process all along and you approve the "sneak peak from the drawing board" as well as the final artwork.
